Donna qualified as a solicitor in September 2005 after completing her training contract with Foot Anstey. Donna has experience in a wide range of property transactions including business leases, business sales and purchases, commercial property sales and purchases, commercial mortgages, plot sales, small development agreements, and residential sales and purchases (particularly the high value and complex matters).

Katherine Millman - Partner & Solicitor
Katherine is a partner of the firm and the head of Howard and Over’s private client department. Katherine qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and joined Howard and Over in 2012, having previously worked at another practice in the South Hams.
Katherine works from the Ivybridge Office and deals with all aspects of private client work including the administration of estates/probate matters, dealing with the administration of trusts and the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Katherine has vast experience at dealing with agricultural matters, coming from an agricultural background herself, and is also able to advise clients on tax planning.
Katherine is a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly. Solicitors for the Elderly is an independent, national organisation of lawyers who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

Tim Quinn - Partner & Solicitor
Tim is a partner of the firm, he qualified in 1990 and originally worked in the City of London where he specialised in professional negligence claims.
Since moving to Plymouth in 2001 Tim has expanded his area of work to include personal injury and clinical negligence claims, but is happy to advise on all aspects of civil litigation, including contested probates and boundary disputes.
Tim is often instructed on cases which have been transferred from another firm of solicitors where the client has been dissatisfied with the service they have received. With the increase in 'panel' solicitors appointed by insurance companies or trade unions, this is an expanding area of Tim's work.
Tim is a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyer (APIL)
Tim's work has included:
- Recovering over £700,000 for a train driver who was injured at work when hit by an overhead power cable
- Obtaining a payment of over £30,000 from a national firm of accountants who had miscalculated their clients tax bill.
- Successfully defended a claim brought by a disgruntled family member who disputed his late father's will.
- Claiming £70,000 for a teacher who was assaulted by a violent pupil
- Securing an admission of liability from the NHS following a botched bowel operation that almost killed the patient
- Negotiating a settlement of over £90,000 for a client who was required to push heavy loads at work and damaged his back.
- Successfully suing a firm of solicitors who failed to carry out identity checks on their own client who was a fraudster in a conveyancing transaction
- Taking an appeal to the Privy Council on behalf of a Hong Kong business client

Claire Waldren - Solicitor
Claire qualified in 2013 after completing her training contract in-house with AECOM Davis Langdon, a global construction consultancy.
Claire has experience in a wide range of commercial transactions including commercial contracts, financing, business leases, business sales and purchases, commercial property sales and purchases, and high value and complex residential sales and purchases.
In 2015 Claire qualified in Scots Law and spent several years dealing with residential and commercial property in Scotland. From Plymouth, Claire has good local knowledge and understanding of the Plymouth and surrounding areas and market.

Natalie Couling - Conveyancer
Natalie joined Howard and Over in November 2015 as a paralegal after working in the conveyancing department at Bond Dickinson LLP. Natalie is now a conveyancer.
Natalie has been working in residential conveyancing for nearly a decade.
Natalie deals with both freehold and leasehold property, new builds, shared ownership, help to buy, leases, lease extensions, development, transfers of land, transfers of equity and re-mortgages.
Natalie works from the Plymouth Office.

Anna Darcy - Solicitor
Anna joined Howard and Over in 2023 having qualified with another local firm in the property department.
Anna is a qualified solicitor, having completed her law degree and LPC locally in Devon. Anna also have a masters degree in law, business and management.
Anna works in the Plymouth office and deals with residential property matters such as sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold property.

Catherine English - Trusts & Probate Practitioner
Catherine is a Graduate member of the Institute of Legal Executives and the Trust and Probate Practitioner in the firm.
Catherine has lived and worked in Plymouth all her life and has more than 30 years experience in the legal profession and 20 years experience in Private Client.
Prior to joining the firm Catherine worked at Bond Pearce (now Womble Bond Dickinson) for 18 years as a private client paralegal.
Catherine deals with all aspects of private client work including administration of estates/probate, preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.

Danielle works in the Ivybridge office dealing with residential conveyancing matters including the purchase and sale of properties as well as transfers of equity.
Danielle initially joined Howard and Over in 2017 under an apprenticeship scheme and after successfully completing a level three in business administration she worked her way up to becoming a paralegal before starting training to be a Legal Executive. Danielle has since completed her Level 3 exams as is now a member of the chartered institute of legal executives.

Nick Kramarenko - Trainee Solicitor
After gaining extensive experience working as a paralegal undertaking litigation matters, Nick started his training contract with Howard and Over in 2022 and is currently undertaking a seat in the private client department in Ivybridge.
Whilst undertaking the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, Nick continues to take on litigation matters such as contentious probate issues, property litigation/boundary issues as well as personal injury matters.
