A Small Island of Sanity in a Sea of Madness

A small island of sanity in a sea of madness. The Ministry of Fear, sorry, Justice, has announced that it no longer intends to increase the small claims level for personal injury claims from the current £1,000 to £5,000. This appears to be in response to the Transport Committee’s report earlier this year that found despite all the press hype there was no evidence of widespread fraud involving whiplash claims and that raising the small claims level would put the courts out of reach for injured claimants of modest means.
